交叉换位法的优点是:对拱形路面的适应性好,能更好地保证各条轮胎均衡磨耗;换位时不用从轮辆上拆胎调面,并且备胎也可参与换位(图中虚线所示)
同轴换位法是在用交叉换位法不能保证轮胎安装要求时(如全车轮胎的新旧程度相差太大,不能保证前轴用的胎和直径较大的轮胎装在后轮外档)常采用的方法,也能取得较好的效果。
